Buffalo Ranch Chicken Meatballs


These Buffalo Ranch Chicken Meatballs are a zesty, spicy, and tangy twist on classic meatballs. Perfect for game day, parties, or weeknight dinners, they pack a punch of flavor in every bite.



Ingredients:


Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce

  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing


Optional Garnish:

  • Chopped green onions

  • Crumbled blue cheese

Preparation Steps:


Mix the Meatball Ingredients:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, ranch dressing, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Gently mix with your hands or a spatula until the ingredients are evenly combined. Avoid overmixing for tender meatballs.


Form the Meatballs:

  1. Using a small scoop or your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.

  2. Place the meatballs on a tray or plate, ensuring they don’t touch.



Air Frying Steps:

  1. Preheat: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Load the Basket: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the meatballs in a single layer, leaving space between them. Cook in batches if necessary.

  3. Cook the Meatballs: Air fry the meatballs at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Ensure the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F when done.



Make the Buffalo Ranch Sauce:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing.

  2. Heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Remove from heat.



Combine and Serve:

  1. Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the buffalo ranch sauce over the top. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. Garnish with chopped green onions and crumbled blue cheese before serving.

  • Serve as a party appetizer with toothpicks.
