Air Fryer Mahi-Mahi with Garlic-Lime Butter

Elevate your dinner with this Air Fryer Mahi-Mahi topped with a rich garlic-lime butter. Flaky, tender fish paired with zesty citrus and buttery goodness makes this dish a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients:

For the Mahi-Mahi:

  • 4 mahi-mahi fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Garlic-Lime Butter:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • Zest of 1 lime

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Mahi-Mahi:

  • Rinse the mahi-mahi fillets and pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.

  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over both sides of the fillets.

2. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.

3. Cook the Mahi-Mahi:

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  • Place the fillets in a single layer in the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.

  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. The fish should flake easily with a fork.

4. Make the Garlic-Lime Butter:

  • While the fish cooks, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lime juice, lime zest, and parsley in a small bowl.

5. Serve:

  • Transfer the cooked mahi-mahi to a serving platter. Drizzle the garlic-lime butter generously over the fillets.

  • Garnish with additional parsley and serve immediately.

Pro Tips for Success:

  • Fresh Lime: Use freshly squeezed lime juice and zest for the best flavor.

  • Don’t Overcook: Check the mahi-mahi at the 10-minute mark to prevent it from drying out.

  • Custom Flavors: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter for a spicy kick.
