  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Oat Topping:

Preparation Steps:

Prepare the Apple Filling:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss until the apples are evenly coated.

  2. Transfer the mixture to an air fryer-safe baking dish or divide evenly between ramekins.

Make the Oat Topping:

  1. In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.

  2. Add the cubed butter and use your fingers or a fork to combine until the mixture is crumbly.

  3. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the apples.

Air Frying Steps:

  1. Preheat: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Load the Dish: Place the baking dish or ramekins into the air fryer basket.

  3. Cook the Crisp: Air fry at 350°F for 12–15 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.

  4. Cool Slightly: Let the crisp cool for a few minutes before serving, as it will be very hot.
